Background
I am a political scientist and International Relations scholar whose work begins with a simple question: how do institutions, technologies, and narratives shape the ways we live together?
Growing up in a divided society sharpened my awareness of how memory, education, and governance are never neutral; they quietly structure what becomes possible and impossible, organising political life and shaping the contours of peace, justice, and democracy. I began my academic journey by studying how divided societies teach their pasts, and this evolved into a broader interest in how conflict, governance, and technology intersect in shaping democratic life—from history textbooks to AI ethics frameworks.
Today my research spans historical and algorithmic justice, ecological diplomacy, the politics of security in education, and the emotional landscapes of far-right mobilisation. I work with international organisations, educators, and civil society actors to examine how institutions construct and contest narratives and legitimacy. My commitment is to scholarship that listens closely, questions deeply and imagines alternatives.
